Apple Rose Tarts

*Disclaimer: The photo is not of my apple rose tarts (because they were eaten too fast) so this is from Google*

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Apples (which ever you want)
  • Puff Pastry sheet
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 sugar
  • cinnamon
  • sugar

Steps:

  1. Cut the apples into thin half apple slices
  2. Put the apples in a bowl with water and food coloring if you wish.
  3. Microwave for 3 minutes to soften.
  4. Slice the puff pastry sheet into 6 even pieces.
  5. Put raspberries and 1/4 sugar in another bowl and microwave for 9 minutes for a jam.
  6. Line the half apple slices with peel on the edge of the puff pastry.
  7. Spread jam, cinnamon, and sugar across the puff pastry and apples at your discretion.
  8. Fold up half of the puff pastry and roll into a circle.
  9. Oil muffin pan and put puff pastry in individual muffins.
  10. Bake in 400 degree over for 20 minutes.

The only complaint I have is leaving the seeds in from the jam. I don’t like seeds and it got stuck in my teeth. But otherwise quite yummy. My confidence is getting better. 🙂
